Vietnam Leisure Summer Group Tour 14 Days

We have designed this cultural journey for people keen to experience the diversity of Vietnam, but with limited time to spare, and wewill take you to discover the very best that Vietnam has to offer in fourteen days.

You will discover several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including magnificent Halong Bay, historic Hoi An, and the ancient capital Hue. This trip starts in colonial Hanoi and ends in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon).

In charming Hanoi, you will dine in one of the French colonial villas which have been converted into gourmet restaurants, explore the fascinating maze of 36 streets in the Old Quarter and cruise along dramatic limestone islands in Halong Bay.

Farther south, in Hue, you will marvel at its citadel, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas, and temples. Then it’s off to the river town of Hoi An, where you will tour centuries-old merchant houses, and visit busy silk and fish markets.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s dynamic commercial center, you’ll explore colorful produce markets, or perhaps stop in a designer shop to order haute couture ao dai. You’ll also take a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. Ben Tre is the best option for a day trip to the Mekong Delta from Saigon, since it is only around 2 hours away, and 15 minutes from My Tho. However, this wonderful destination retains an authenticity which has been somewhat lessened in nearby My Tho.

This picturesque and friendly Mekong Delta town has historically seen very few travelers, but the recent opening of a bridge connecting Ben Tre and My Tho has made it far easier for day trippers to visit from Saigon.

Our one-day cruise excursion starts at 8:00 am from the lobby of your hotel in Saigon with a drive to Ben Tre. While there, you can take a walk along the waterfront, lined with French era shops and houses, and you'll see plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch around the country. Then, jump on a boat for a couple of hours of cruising on the Mekong River. You will enjoy your delicious lunch at a local restaurant or on board. The excursion will end at around 4:00 pm where the vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon.

There are no activities planned for your final day, so you can unwind and plan for the next leg of your journey or opt to take in even more of the city’s offerings before being escorted to the airport for your onward flight.
