We offer an exclusive overnight cruise in Halong Bay which includes seaplane transfers. Viewing Halong Bay from the seaplane is a great way to get a panoramic view of the mystical landscape.

The tour includes pick up by a private limousine in Hanoi followed by a short seaplane ride from Noi Bai airport to Halong Bay.

The package, offered in collaboration with Paradise Cruises, features a seaplane journey and sightseeing aboard a deluxe cruise boat and will offer a unique experience to domestic and international tourists who wish to discover one of Vietnam’s natural world heritage sites in a different way.

After a 30-minute flight by seaplane and views of the entire bay from a height of 500m to 3,000m above sea level, tourists will have a chance to enjoy exploring the bay’s well-known caves and learn more about Vietnamese culture.

The Seaplane Information:

The Cessna Caravan C208 EX aircraft are 2014 models and registered VN-B468 and VN-B469. In June 2014, the aircraft was collected from Cessna’s factory in Wichita Kansas and flown to Wipaire Inc. in St Paul, Minnesota where Wipline 8750 amphibious floats were fitted. The aircraft was then flown to Vietnam via California, Hawaii, Marshall Islands and the Philippines, a journey taking approximately 60 hours.

The Caravan is the largest single-engine floatplane currently manufactured and has proven itself to be one of the most reliable, cost-effective and, most importantly, safest aircraft ever built. The amphibious floats offer the ultimate in flexibility and allow us to fly to any suitable water or runway landing area.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong (L,D)

08:30: Your English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel for transfer to Noi Bai airport to check in at the VIP lounge.

10:00: Board the seaplane for a 30-minute flight to Halong for a 15-minute flight over the unbelievable panorama below - Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

10:45: Land at Tuan Chau Marina and relax at Paradise Café.

12:15: Transfer to cruise ship

12:30: Welcome drink as you listen to cruise briefing, safety instructions and then check in to your cabin. Cruise and program commence.

13:00 – 14:30: Special onboard lunch.

14:30 – 15:30: Explore Surprising Cave “Hang Sung Sot Cave”, one of the largest caves in Halong Bay.

16:00: Visit Ti Top Island – climb 470 steps to the peak of the island for a spectacular panoramic view or kayak and swim from one of the most beautiful beaches in Halong Bay. (Kayaking is additional $15 for 1-2 people)

17:30 – 19:00: Happy Hour in the bar with buy one, get one free on selected items.

18.00: Join cookery demonstration and discover the delights of Vietnamese cuisine. Make a spring roll yourself and learn how to toast rice wine the Vietnamese way.

18:30 – 19:00: Pre-dinner cocktail on the sundeck (with complimentary nuts and canapés).

7:30 – 8:15: Take in the charm and tranquillity of the lagoon at Luon Cave. Experience breathtaking views from a traditional bamboo boat.

8:15: International buffet breakfast

9:30: Check out from cabin

10:30: Arrive Tuan Chau Island.

11:15: Take the seaplane back to Hanoi

The guide and car will pick you up at Noi Bai airport to transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi.
