This trip is designed to explore the charming of the nature & the unique culture of the Indochina through the routine of Mekong River in comfort and style, spending time on the complex maze of the Mekong Delta will you an insight into life on the mighty Mekong River and its' tributaries. You will be taken along the vast network of canals and tributaries to see how people go about their daily lives. Gliding on the busy waterways we have the opportunity to interact with the local people at the floating markets, eat tropical fruits in lush orchards, look into the art of Bonsai, have tea on a typical boathouse and taste a delightful local cuisine.

You cross Cambodia Border by waterway to the Capital Phnom Penh from Chau Doc and explore the exciting and bustling life of Phnom Penh, visit National Museum, Silver Pagoda, Royal Palaces and excursion to Tuol Sleng Genocide and Cheung Ek Killing field.

Take an excursion by car to Battambang and try the one and only – Bamboo Train, the join in the boat trip to Siem Reap. Here you will visit the peace and glorious of world-famous Angkor Wat. The trip also includes Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple ), Takeo, South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of Leper King and enjoying a boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake.

The next leg of the trip allows you to discover the exotic charm of Southern Laos. The tour itinerary includes Tadlo, Boloven Plateau – Four Thousand Islands, Done Khone Phapheng Waterfall which boasts the largest one in Southeast Asia and World Heritage Site in 2001, Vat Phou firmly anchored Champassak Province into world tourists' itineraries. Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrival HCMC (Former Saigon) (D)

You will be warmly welcomed on arrival at HCMC's Tan Son Nhat International airport by our guide and transferred to your hotel. You will have free time before a welcome dinner at a chic restaurant and an overnight stay in HCMC.

In the morning you will have a half day private excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel for what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War.

In the afternoon you will take a private city tour of HCMC, the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. You will visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. If desired, you can also visit the moving War Remnants Museum. Next you will explore colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's most upscale shopping boulevard with fashionable boutiques and accessories designed by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and housewares. You will stay overnight in HCMC.

Pick-up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Can Tho.

Boarding at Can Tho at Ninh Kieu pier. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure downstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route.

•  Tour near Tra On floating market.

•  Turning into Nicolai canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks.

•  By mid-afternoon, the Bassac casts anchor for a visit on shore: past the first tree line, quiet discovery of the peaceful life in the delta's countryside, of rice fields, fruit trees and the welcoming inhabitants.

•  Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset.

•  The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river towards her anchorage point for the night.

•  The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit.

•  06:30 Departure towards Cai Be. The passengers take their breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the banks.

•  The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.

•  Arrival near Cai Be, check-out and transfer to a rowing boat for a quiet visit through a small canal.

•  Rendez-vous with a local boat, which will take you to shore for a visit of Cai Be's handicraft.

Afternoon transfer to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Please note you will leave the Bassac for good upon boarding the small boat for the last visit, typically about 8:30.

Leave Can Tho, we drive to Chau Doc. The amazing journey takes us 4 hours to get there. Chau Doc town is situated right on the Basac River, close to the Cambodian border. In the afternoon, we visit a bonsai garden and head up Sam Mountain for a great sunset and a birdseye view over the paddy fields towards Cambodia. Overnight in Victoria Hotel Chau Doc.

In the morning take high-speed boat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, pick up and transfer to hotel for check in. After check in, we visit the Silver Pagoda. Located within the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. With the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by private car to the Battambang town, where you can find many of the French Colonial architectures. After check in, we drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the former residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch. We continue to visit Ek Phnom Temple which is an 11th century Angkorian-era ruin built as a Hindu temple under Suryavarman I. The temple consists of prasats on a platform with some carvings in pretty good condition. Wat Ek Phnom, a modern pagoda, sits next to the ruin. The river road drive to Ek Phnom from Battambang passes through small villages and rice paddies and is an absolutely beautiful countryside drive. We end our day tour by visiting bamboo train village with a great experiences of sliding on this funny train. Overnight at the hotel in Battambang.

Today after breakfast at hotel, we transfer to boat pier for take a boat to Siem Reap. Arrival in Siem Reap in noon time, transfer to hotel for check in. After check in, we continue to you will be taken by Tuk Tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia. The pre-orientation of Siem Reap will be conducted at Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chom, where is the holy place for worship at every religious day that Cambodian consider as important part of their life and continue to Wat Bo, a large, highly respected pagoda, founded in the 18th Century. Like the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh, the vihear of Wat Bo contains unique wall paintings of the Reamker that are said to be late 19th Century. Look for the daily-life market scenes such as an opium smoking Chinese merchant, the colonial era French officer at the market and the French soldiers attending a traditional dance performance. Also of interest is the large collection of Buddha statues located behind the main Buddha and cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town. Tonight we enjoy dinner with Apsara dance performance. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Breakfast at hotel. Continue your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full dayexploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Breakfast at hotel, free at your own leisure till time transfer to airport for your flight to Pakse.

Welcome to Laos. Upon arrival, Meet your guide and take our journey towards Tadlo, through Boloven plateau where famous tea and coffee plantation and other lush vegetation and red surface of basaltic soil are incredible all along the way. En route, there are some opportunities to explore a part of Boloven plateau and visit some hill villages of the Katu, Alak and Nge ethnic minority people, return to Pakse by late evening. Overnight in Tadlo.

After breakfast, we drive on the National Road No. 13th south to Champassak and visit the ruins of Wat Phu, which is well known as the most impant Hindu sanctuary of the Khmer Empire between 9th - 13th centuries. Here is also a chance to visit some nearby Khmer temples and Buddhist shrines, after a shortstop visit, we continue to Done Khong island by land. Overnight in Don Khong Island

After breakfast, We begin a boat trip down to Khone island, we explore the local villages of Ban Khone, where the old French colonial buildings and its retrace the old colonial past with seeing the first Lao railway with its locomotive. We continue discover the area of 4000 islands by our leisurely boat to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls of marking the end of Lao boundary to Cambodia call Liphi waterfall, known as the Samphamith. If we have luck, we may be seen the rare freshwater Irrawaddy Mekong dolphin at Ban Hang Khone. We return to Ban Nakasang and drive to famous waterfalls of Khone Phapeng. The largest waterfall in South East Asia, known as Niagara of the east. Late afternoon, Return to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse.

After Breakfast, there is a free time for your own exploration of Pakse Town before catching to Vientiane. Upon arrival in Vientiane, meet your guide and transfer you to your hotel. 
After lunch, Enjoy exploring Vientiane capital city, we start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane. 

After breakfast, take a short flight to Luang prabang. Upon arrival meet your guide, transfer to your hotel. After a short break visit National museum, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; visit Wat Xieng Thong, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, we enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves , crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai , where they make the distillation of local rice wine.

Afternoon, We drive out of town 30KM to the beautiful Kuang Sii Fall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Arrive in the town, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, You are free or relax at your leisurely until your flight time to transfer you to airport for your departure. End of trip.
