Lux Travel DMC successfully promotes “Authentic Experiences” in London

Lux Travel DMC at WTM London Lux Travel DMC (www.luxurytravels.asia), an award-winning Asian specialist in the art of travel, had a successful World Travel Market (WTM) launching their new products at Excel London from
November 7- 9, 2016.

For several years Lux Travel DMC has had their own exclusive stand at WTM, located in the Asian hall. With the message “Luxury travel is redefined as authentic experiences” featured on the walls of the stand, the purpose was to highlight the possibilities to their partners of creating unforgettable memories through innovative experiences in Southeast Asia with Lux Travel DMC. All of the photos featured new experiences throughout Southeast Asia developed by their in-house experts.
“The UK is one of our main markets contributing to over 50% of our revenue. WTM is the ideal opportunity for us to meet our existing partners and expand our business with new ones”, said Ms Huyen, representative of the Marketing Department at Lux Travel DMC. She added “Travelers are more sophisticated than in the past and buyers expect a lot from the travel experts at each destination, looking for new and unique experiences to be developed at the most competitive price. The quality of services provided is considered as the first priority for this particular market”.

WTM is one of the major annual events in tourism, with many opportunities to meet and promote new tourism products to travel experts from around the world. Besides B2B appointments at WTM there were numerous other opportunities such as: B2B speed networking, Responsible travel speed networking, bloggers networking…
Though there are uncertainties following the vote for Brexit, there were still 21,216 travel companies and organizations from many countries, around 2,768 reporters and more than 9,126 international buyers. This year there was an increase in the number of new exhibitors compared to last year and nearly 30 Vietnamese travel companies attended this important travel trade show.

Being a safe, friendly and attractive destination, Vietnam is becoming more and more popular with international visitors. In the first 10 months of 2016, there were 209,048 British tourists travelling to Vietnam, an increase of 21.7% over the same period last year. This number is expected to rise rapidly in the last.
