Novotel Dalat is rebranded to Mercure Dalat Hotel Du Parc

By phamha | December 23, 2009

An international hotel operator in Vietnam, announced today the rebranding of a hotel that will enable its distinctive character and style to be expressed.

“The hotel being rebranded … is a strategic move that will allow the hotel to reflect its true personality with the city’s inimitable identity and heritage,” said a company executive.

Famous for its array of flowers and fresh produce, the city of Dalat is a unique destination with a rich history and distinctive location, amidst the beautiful highlands of Vietnam. Dalat is surrounded by lakes and waterfalls with mild to cool temperatures all year round.

Built in 1932, the 144-room hotel will maintain its glorious French colonial style invigorating some of the past traditions while embracing some worldwide brand promises.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Dalat, within a few minutes walk from the man-made Xuan Huong Lake, and for those who love golf, the Dalat Palace Golf Club’s lavish greens are nearby. Other tourist attractions in Dalat include Emperor Bao Dai’s Palace, the Dalat Museum, and Vuon Hoa Dalat botanical garden.

All of the hotel’s 144 rooms are equipped with premium in-rooms amenities, en suite bath or shower, satellite TV, and complimentary WiFi Internet access.

A hotel restaurant offers French Brasserie menus styled from the 1950s, along with French architecture and the spirit of this historic city. Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, it serves up home-style French cuisine with international and Vietnamese dishes. The hotel also offers a relaxing outdoor terrace area at the epicenter of Dalat facing the city’s church and post office.
