Located midway between Hue and Danang/Hoi An, Bach Ma National Park covers an area of 22,000 ha, and is home to a wide variety of animals and plants. This trip is for nature lovers.

You leave Hue or Hoi An at 8 am and drive on a bumpy and sinuous road to reach the summit of Bach Ma. We provide an overview of the park's conservation efforts through an educational video tape.

In the summit area there are some species of rare conifers like Bach Ma pine (Dacrydium elatum), Podocarpus neriifolius and Podocarpus fleuryi. In February, the red blossoms of the Rhododendron species - Rh. simsii - can be seen along small streams and in particular at the bottom of the Rhododendron waterfall.

You will meet a funny forest keeper who also is our tour guide today and will take one of the trails: the KheSu GardenTour / the PheasantTrai / the Rhododendron Trail / the Five-Lakes-Cascade / the SummitTrail and the Nature Exploration Trail. Back to Hue on the same day.
