In Sapa, on our request our guide (I forgot his name, please revert!), guided us through rainy whether to a local restaurant that he sometimes visited himself, ordered our food and supplied us with a local liquor which made us very popular with the local restaurant patrons, a wonderful experience! Our trip on the junk was as private as we could wish.... We will recommend you to all our friends for a really great experience in traveling! I have so many tales to tell you about that I don't know where to begin. I saw things I will never forget and met people I will always be thankful to for making this experience UNIQUE. There is a funny story about our arrival in Chau Doc: the very first night we were there our guide (a sweet and very nice lady whose name I don't remember but I attach a couple of pictures of hers) made us taste a delicious dish supposed to be a special dish from the Delta of Mekong. She said it was a roasted pork and, only the following day, she admitted we had eaten a rat. I was astonished by the news but she said “if I had told you it was a rat, you wouldn't have eaten a single bite!” and she was right … anyway, I liked it !

Then, for the very first time in my life, I touched a python… I hate snakes, but I fell in love with that animal so much that it made me changed my mind. Then the whole experience itself  enriched me and now I look at things in a different way. I read more about your culture, I admit my ignorance about all the bad things happened to the beautiful people in Lao , Cambodia and Vietnam . To cut this short, I want to come back and explore the places I haven't yet seen, taste the food I haven't tasted yet and enjoy the innocence of the children that I miss so much.

Well what can I say except, you have done it again. This was our second trip in 2 years and we didn't think our love for Vietname could get any better but nevertheless, you and your staff have managed to provide us with yet another holiday experience we will never forget.

The professionalism and courtesy you provided when we booked our holiday is further match by the personalised service we get from all of our guides. From the moment we hop of the plane to the moment we leave again, we are treated like very special guests of your company and Country.

I cannot say enough about the tour and service you provided.  Starting with Mr. Pham.  He was excellent to deal with, and gave excellent options to choose from.  He was responsive and provided excellent detail.  We met with Khanh our tour guide (I forget his last name and his business card is still packed away).  Khanh was always on time and was really good with us.  He was calming, informative, and provided a fantastic service throughout our tour.  Unlike other tours I have taken before, he did not dominate the tour.  He allowed us the time to be with Vietnam and allowed us to set the agenda for discussions, questions, and stories.  He was very sensitive to our needs, and clearly does his job very very well.  He worked very well with the drivers, the restaurants, the boat operators, the house owners, the store owners, and hotels such that all our needs were looked after. Of course there was a glitch or two, but nothing related to your service.  Khanh helped us get through the glitches.  We found that as we got to chat more with Khanh, he adapted the tour for us as we went. He made our trip so very easy, and delivered many stories about where we were and the people and activities of Vietnam and Ho-Chi-Minh city. In short, the trip was simply perfect for us. Thank you for your recent letter regarding our holiday in Vietnam .  We did have a lovely weekend on Halong Bay and in particular would like to compliment you on the excellent service provided by our tour guide Rose.  She was particularly knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humour that endeared her to our group.  We were on one of the smaller junks (6 cabins) and we thoroughly enjoyed the fact that we joined with the other passengers for our meals etc which added another perspective to the tour.  The food on board was delicious and the wines excellent  Perhaps one criticism I could make is that we found it very crowded on the bay when we dropped anchor for the night which is a shame when there is such a lot of water out there.  Although we do live in the tropics we did find June a particularly hot month to visit Vietnam and would certainly come back for another visit but perhaps in a cooler month. My husband and I have recently returned from a great three week private tour of Vietnam . I booked all the land content of our trip, private English speaking guides, and private air conditioned cars with drivers directly through an excellent travel agency located in Hanoi . I priced the same trip through agencies here in Sydney and the saving was not hundreds but thousands of dollars. The travel agent that I dealt with is named Mr Pham Ha. I can highly recommend this company. All the guides employed spoke excellent English, were knowledgeable, helpful and flexible, considering our needs and requests. The drivers were cautious, a must in the land of two wheeled vehicles, the cars air conditioned and in good condition.

My TIP is book directly through a company based in Vietnam ! Highlights of this three week trip were many including, Halong Bay, stay overnight on Cat Ba Island if you aren't keen on sleeping in a small boat;  take a break in the middle of your tour in historic Hoian,{ I can recommend the Victorian Resort}the beach is lovely and sandy, have something  made to measure at one of the many tailors situated here at a bargain price; Visit Hue and the Forbidden City and make sure you go to one of the land markets in the Mekong Delta and the Russian Market{Near the Post Office} in HCM City as well as a visit the world famous tunnels outside HCM City.
